Cameron R-I School Police Officer

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Cameron R-1 School District is seeking a School Police Officer.  The successful candidate will support the instructional process with specific responsibilities for the safety and welfare of students and staff during classroom and non-classroom activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of job related experience.

 Certificates, Licenses and Other Special Requirements

• Must have Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification.
• Must be up to date on statutory required training.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Clearance, the results of which must be satisfactory to the District.

Possession of a valid Driver’s License, with evidence of insurability.
